FUNCTION Core Trousers: Entry-level cut-resistant trousers for chainsaw users

The STIHL FUNCTION Core trousers (Class 1, Model A) are ideal for beginners wanting to use a chainsaw, whether for personal or professional purposes. Comfortable, lightweight, and breathable, these newly designed trousers are perfect for forestry work, firewood cutting, or agricultural work.

These chainsaw-resistant trousers offer a classic cut and optimal comfort, even during long workdays, thanks to their lightweight design. Made from breathable fabric, they keep you cool. Lightweight, durable, and robust, they offer excellent freedom of movement. The integrated chainsaw protection ensures increased safety when using your chainsaw. The lumbar support keeps you warm in cold weather and protects your lower back from abrasions and impacts, especially on rough terrain. Furthermore, they feature a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment.

These pants feature silver reflective stripes, a neon green detail on the back pocket and high-visibility orange accents for excellent visibility in low light.

Thanks to the buttons and belt loops, you can attach STIHL suspenders to the FUNCTION Core trousers. The two side pockets are easily accessible, and the trousers also feature a back pocket, a thigh pocket, and a tape measure pocket, providing ample space for gloves and other accessories.

The FUNCTION Core trousers match perfectly with the FUNCTION Core jacket and the FUNCTION Active chainsaw protective boots.

Class 1 is the most common level of protection for chainsaw trousers. It offers protection against chain speeds up to 20 m/s.

Model A - These trousers have protection on the front of the leg. They do not protect the back of the leg.

CUT-RESISTANT ZONE MODEL A FOR FORESTRY WORK: The Model A cut-resistant trousers (compliant with EN 381 and EN ISO 11393 standards) offer full lower body protection on the front. The protection extends 5 cm up the back of the left leg. Model A ensures optimal protection during forestry work.

VENTILATION FOR OPTIMAL COMFORT: Ideal body temperature varies depending on the individual, their physical activity, and the ambient temperature. Integrated vents allow body heat to escape.

BREATHABLE: Its breathable fabric ensures optimal comfort throughout the day. Moisture is wicked away, while fresh air circulates.
